Poem: Quinoa on the Couch

There’s quinoa on the couch

it must have slipped

through the spaces

of a cold metal fork

settled like sand in a shoe

or a woman for a mediocre

in the crease of old corduroy jeans

holding on just long enough

to find somewhere

JSB Writing: Jason, it appears, has a lot of writing on offer. I have chores first – since Anthony swiped my early time-slot and I’ve but ’till noon to slop my own trough. Will be back. Love Rodin’s new perch on his upcoming book of poetry. Lookup Jason Scott Brendel for more. I’m sure you will be apointed well past ‘dis.’
